About Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie
DRESS CODE: Guests should enjoy their day in smart casual attire. Jeans and shorts are acceptable with collared shirts required for men. Although acceptable within Lone Star Park, jeans are not preferred for the Dallas Derby Day event. Ragged abbreviated clothing is prohibited.
PARKING: We recommend to pre-purchase parking through your coordinator. Day-of races parking is available but CASH ONLY.
VALET PARKING- $35: Take Lone Star Parkway to enter through Gate 5 and turn right into the valet circle.
PREFERRED PARKING- $20: Take Lone Star Parkway and turn left to enter Gate 4 .
GENERAL PARKING: General parking is complimentary, and no pass is required. Enter Gate 1 from Belt Line Road.
ADMISSION LOCATION: Guests should enter the East Grandstand gate located by the valet parking circle.
TICKETS: All guests must have a ticket to enter through the admission gates. Replacement tickets will not be available for day-of printing. Each guest must use a different ticket as barcodes are unique and may only be scanned once.
PROGRAMS: Complimentary Lone Star Today racing programs will be provided in the Alysheba Room. It is not necessary to purchase programs upon their arrival.
WRISTBANDS: Wristbands will be available for your attendees at your event location. Wristbands are to be distributed and worn by guests to alert security to your designated room access.
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE: Non-alcoholic beverages will be available upon gate opening, in addition to bar service and appetizers, if ordered. Drink tickets will be delivered to the site contact upon gate opening. Suite & Silks Buffet service will begin between the National Anthem and the first call to post. Bar service concludes at the call to post of the next to last race or at the call to post of the tenth race, whichever is first. Private Event room buffet service start time is determined by the event contact and service is 2 hours. Store bought cakes/cupcakes are allowed in the Suites, Private Event and Silks locations only.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: Due to the sensitive nature of our horses, the following items are not permitted on premise during live race days: balloons, flags, noise-makers and recreational balls. At no time are the following items permitted on LSP property: masks that cover the complete face, outside beverages, firearms, mock weapons and confetti.
WAGERING & ATMS: Minimum age to wager is 21 and all wagers must be made with cash. ATMs are available in various locations. Note that ATMs will not allow cash advance from credit cards (debit card only) and have a limit of $500 per day.
